Theme: “Food at Nutrisyon Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”
Every July, the entire country celebrates Nutrition Month, and in 2025, our school actively participated in this important observance. This year’s theme, “Food at Nutrisyon Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”, aimed to raise awareness about the importance of proper nutrition and the right of every individual to have access to sufficient and healthy food.
The celebration began on July 1, 2025 with a short program held at the school grounds. The opening ceremony formally started with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by a group rendition of “Isang Lahi” as a symbol of unity and collective advocacy for proper nutrition. A solemn prayer was then offered to dedicate the entire month to promoting health and wellness.
Sir Leonidas delivered the opening message, explaining the goals of the celebration and emphasizing the significance of food security as a basic human right. This was followed by an inspiring speech from our school principal, Mr. Nestor T. Torrecampo, who encouraged all students to actively engage in the month-long activities and highlighted the importance of maintaining good nutrition.
Selected students also showcased their talents in intermission numbers, delighting the audience with their singing and dancing performances.
Throughout the month of July, various activities were held, such as:
Poster Making Contest
Spoken Poetry Competition
Nutri-Quiz
These activities were actively participated in by students from different grade levels. They served as an opportunity to expand their knowledge and awareness on the topic of nutrition in a fun and educational manner.
The celebration concluded on July 31, 2025, with a closing program that began once again with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a heartfelt prayer. Mr. Nestor T. Torrecampo returned to the stage to give his closing remarks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
