On September 3, 2026, at 9:00 in the morning, Baclaran National High School conducted the Guidance Spiritual Program entitled Project Bangon: A Journey Towards Positive Change, with the theme “REFLECT, RENEW, RESTORE, RISE.”

The program was hosted by Ma’am Susan A. Sevilla, Filipino Teacher, and was attended by selected students of the school. The activity began with the singing of a nationalistic song, followed by an opening prayer to invoke God’s presence and blessings. Sir Emerson O. Sabadlab, the supportive and hardworking OIC-Principal, delivered the welcoming message, expressing his warm welcome to the participants and emphasizing the importance of the program in shaping the values, character, and spiritual well-being of the learners.

The highlight of the activity was the talk delivered by the resource speaker, Mr. Roderick Niño Garcia, fondly known as Sir Red. He shared meaningful and inspiring insights that deeply touched the hearts and minds of the students. His discussion focused on guiding the learners to become better individuals who fear God, make wise and right decisions, and treat others with kindness and respect. The students listened attentively and expressed appreciation for the timely and relevant message, which proved very helpful for them as they strive to grow as God-fearing, responsible, and compassionate members of the community.

The program concluded with closing remarks and a closing prayer led by Mrs. Leslie Castaloni, Master Teacher I and Guidance Teacher, who expressed gratitude to the speaker, participants, and everyone who contributed to the success of the activity. The entire program was truly a success from start to finish. The students actively participated and showed genuine interest throughout the session, and the theme “REFLECT, RENEW, RESTORE, RISE” was effectively realized as they were given the opportunity to look within themselves, renew their spirit, restore their purpose, and rise up as better persons.
